  • The Zamp RZ-70F Graphic is the dual-certified member of Zamp's flagship RZ-70 helmet line, built for drivers who compete in oval, road racing and FIA-sanctioned events. Unlike the standard RZ-70S Graphic, the RZ-70F carries dual certification: Snell SA2025 and FIA 8859-2024. For $20 more than the RZ-70S Graphic, you get the FIA rating, the FIA-rated Z-20 shield and the spring-loaded FIA shield lock button.

  • It's built on Zamp's lightweight composite aramid shell and finished in five bold factory graphics. Not sure about your size? Fast Racer accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order, so you can choose a different size, a refund or store credit. The helmet must be unworn and unused, in its original packaging with all tags attached. See our Returns & Exchanges policy.

  • Key features include:

    • Dual Snell SA2025 & FIA 8859-2024 Certification. The RZ-70F is certified to both the Snell Memorial Foundation's SA2025 standard and the FIA's 8859-2024 international motorsport standard, so one helmet covers series that specify either standard, including events that require FIA-rated head protection.

    • Spring-Loaded FIA Shield Lock Button. Zamp added a spring-loaded shield lock button at the bottom of the shield to pass FIA testing. It keeps the shield in the down position during an impact. Push the button down, then lift the shield to open it.

    • Z-20 FIA-Rated Clear Anti-Fog Shield. The helmet ships with a factory-installed 3mm Z-20 series clear anti-fog shield rated to FIA specification, marked with an FIA sticker in the lower-left corner. Like all Z-20 shields, it has tensioning tear-off posts that adjust wider or narrower so tear-offs go on and come off more easily.

    • Composite Aramid Mix Lightweight Shell. The shell blends composite and aramid fibers to stay light on your neck over a long race distance while meeting the impact-absorption demands of both standards.

    • Z-Design Internal Air Channeling. Internal channels route air through the shell and chin bar, and the chin bar EPS is pre-cut for a microphone or drink tube.

    • Premium 28 Series Interior. The fire-retardant crown liner and color-matched cheek pads are fully removable and washable, so you can keep the helmet fresh from weekend to weekend. Zamp notes you can pair one cheek pad size with a different crown liner size for a custom fit.

    • Pre-Installed Ear Cups, Communication-Ready. The 28 Series cheek pads come with ear cups pre-installed, and ear pads are built into the chin strap. Zamp confirms both the Zamp Ear Cup with Speakers and the Zamp Ear Cup with Elite Stereo Speakers fit.

    • M6 Head-and-Neck Restraint Hardware. M6 inserts come standard for HANS and other head-and-neck restraint devices, and triangle aero caps are included for a clean open-wheel profile (communication caps sold separately).

    • Tear-Off Post Compatibility. Built-in posts accept standard 12.125" banana-style tear-offs, and Zamp recommends P208Z Z Optics tear-offs as the best fit.
    • Five Bold Factory Graphics. Available in Grey, Red, Blue, Orange and Green graphic colorways, so you can stand out on the grid without paying for a custom paint job. Want the FIA rating without graphics? See the solid-color RZ-70F.
  • Asphalt racing, open or closed cockpit. Zamp designed the RZ-70F for open and closed cockpit asphalt drivers on ovals, road courses and other paved tracks. Four front exhaust holes, venting below the shield and Zamp's Z-Air shell design, which adds room between the EPS and the shell for airflow, keep air moving through the helmet.

  • FIA-sanctioned events. Dual Snell SA2025 and FIA 8859-2024 certification covers series that specify either standard. Always confirm your series rulebook before you buy.

  • Forced air. RZ-70F is top-air friendly. Remove the four plugs on top of the shell, mount a low-profile or round top-air attachment with the four screws it comes with, and connect it to your pumper.

  • Dirt racing. Zamp offers a plug kit that closes the four front and six rear vent holes for dirt use. If dirt is your main discipline, FAST RACER recommends a dirt-specific helmet from our Zamp racing helmets collection.

  • Head and neck restraints. M6 threads come pre-drilled on both sides of the shell under removable plugs. According to Zamp, M6 is the universal thread size for head and neck restraint anchors.

  • Radio communication. The 28 Series cheek pads come with pre-installed ear cups for one-way communication, and Zamp confirms both the standard and Elite speakers fit.

  • Not intended for motorcycle use.

  • Zamp RZ-70F Graphic Helmet

  • Standard Clear Z-20 Anti-fog shield (FIA-rated), factory-installed

    • Note: colored, anti-fog and photochromatic shields are available as accessories and sold separately.

  • Draw-String Helmet Bag

  • User Manual

If your series calls for FIA 8859-2024, or you want one helmet that covers both Snell and FIA rulebooks, the Zamp RZ-70F Graphic Racing Helmet delivers dual certification with factory graphics included.

Questions about Zamp RZ-70F Graphic Racing Helmet - Snell SA2025 & FIA 8859-2024

Q&A

13 answered questions

  • Will the Zamp RZ-70F pass a Snell-only tech inspection?

    seo@fastracer.com

    • Yes. The RZ-70F is certified to Snell SA2025, the same standard as the RZ-70S, so it meets any series that asks for Snell SA2025. The FIA 8859-2024 rating is an extra approval, not a replacement for Snell. That is why some drivers choose the RZ-70F as one helmet that covers both Snell and FIA rulebooks. Always confirm your series rulebook before race day.

  • What comes in the box with the Zamp RZ-70F Graphic

    seo@fastracer.com

    • Staff Answer

The Zamp RZ-70F Graphic ships with a factory-installed, FIA-rated Z-20 clear anti-fog shield, a drawstring helmet bag and a user manual. Triangle aero caps come installed; communication caps are sold separately. Colored, anti-fog and photochromatic shields are also sold separately, so plan a second shield if you race in bright sun or changing light.

  • Can I return or exchange the Zamp RZ-70F Graphic if it doesn't fit?

    seo@fastracer.com

    • Staff Answer

Yes. Fast Racer accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order, and you can choose a refund, a replacement or store credit. The helmet must be unworn and unused, in its original manufacturer packaging with all tags attached. Read the Returns & Exchanges policy before you order, and contact our team with sizing questions first.

      seo@fastracer.com

  • What sizes does the Zamp RZ-70F Graphic come in?

    seo@fastracer.com

    • Staff Answer

The Zamp RZ-70F Graphic comes in X-Small through 2X-Large in all five graphics: Blue, Grey, Red, Orange and Green. Size 3X-Large is available in Grey Graphic only. Its 28 Series cheek pads and crown liner are removable, and Zamp notes you can pair one cheek pad size with a different crown liner size to fine-tune the fit.

      seo@fastracer.com

  • Is the Zamp RZ-70F Graphic compatible with a HANS device?

    seo@fastracer.com

    • Staff Answer

Yes. The RZ-70F comes pre-drilled with M6 threads on both the left and right sides of the shell, under removable plugs. According to Zamp, M6 is the universal thread size for head and neck restraint anchors, so you can mount a HANS device or other head and neck restraint without modifying the helmet. Always follow your restraint maker's installation instructions.

      seo@fastracer.com

  • How do you open the shield on the Zamp RZ-70F?

    seo@fastracer.com

    • Staff Answer

The RZ-70F uses a spring-loaded FIA shield lock button at the bottom of the shield. It keeps the shield in the down position during an impact, which Zamp added to pass FIA testing. To open the shield, push the button down, then lift the shield up. The FIA-rated Z-20 shield carries an FIA sticker in the lower-left corner.

      seo@fastracer.com

  • How do you clean the Zamp RZ-70F Graphic?

    seo@fastracer.com

    • Staff Answer

Remove the 28 Series crown liner and cheek pads, which are fully removable and washable, and wash them in cold water with a mild detergent. Let them air dry completely before reinstalling. Clean the shield with warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth, and avoid ammonia-based cleaners, which can damage its anti-scratch coating.

      seo@fastracer.com

  • Do the Zamp RZ-70F and RZ-70S use the same helmet shell?

    seo@fastracer.com

    • Staff Answer

Yes. Both helmets are built on Zamp's RZ-70 composite aramid mix shell, with the same top-air mounts, M6 inserts and ear cups in the cheek pads. The difference is the certification hardware. The RZ-70F adds a spring-loaded FIA shield lock button and an FIA-rated Z-20 shield, which is what lets it carry FIA 8859-2024 on top of Snell SA2025.

      seo@fastracer.com

  • How can a tech inspector tell an RZ-70F from an RZ-70S?

    seo@fastracer.com

    • Look at three places. The RZ-70F has a spring-loaded shield lock button at the bottom of the shield, and its Z-20 shield carries an FIA sticker in the lower-left corner. Inside, the RZ-70F has both a Snell SA2025 label and an FIA 8859-2024 label, while the RZ-70S has a Snell SA2025 label only. The product title on each listing also names its ratings.

      seo@fastracer.com

  • Can I make an RZ-70S FIA-legal by adding an FIA shield?

    seo@fastracer.com

    • No. FIA 8859-2024 approval belongs to the helmet as it was tested and labeled, not to a single part. The RZ-70S is certified to Snell SA2025 only and carries no FIA label, so adding an FIA-rated shield does not change its rating. If your series requires FIA 8859-2024, choose a helmet that carries the FIA label from the factory, such as the RZ-70F.
