The RZ-70F uses a spring-loaded FIA shield lock button at the bottom of the shield. It keeps the shield in the down position during an impact, which Zamp added to pass FIA testing. To open the shield, push the button down, then lift the shield up. The FIA-rated Z-20 shield carries an FIA sticker in the lower-left corner.
