Bell XD7 Helmets

The XD7 PRO helmet has a composite shell and is rated Snell SA2025. The XD7 ULTRA helmet has a carbon shell, is rated Snell SA2025 and FIA 8859-2024, and is about 75 g lighter in size 58. Both share the same duckbill, ventilation and SmartLock visor.

The Bell XD7 PRO helmet replaced the Bell GTX3 helmet, and the Bell XD7 ULTRA helmet replaced the Bell GTX3 Carbon helmet. Both XD7 helmets keep the GTX3's dirt-track focus and add the SmartLock visor system and a Snell SA2025 rating.

The Bell XD7 ULTRA weighs 1,446 g (3 lb 3 oz) in sizes 57 and 58 and 1,474 g (3 lb 4 oz) in size 59. The Bell XD7 PRO weighs 1,521 g (3 lb 6 oz) in sizes 58 and 59, and up to 1,565 g (3 lb 7 oz) in size 60. Allow about 40 g either way.

Both XD7 helmets use the Bell SE07 3mm shield, the same shield as the Bell RS7 and XR7. The older GTX3 used the SE03 shield, which does not fit the XD7.

Measure around the widest part of your head, about one inch above your eyebrows, and compare it with the size chart for that helmet. Try it on indoors first.
