View full detailsShop youth and kids karting gloves and racing gloves from OMP, Alpinestars and Bell, sized for young drivers. Choose karting gloves for kart racing, or SFI rated youth racing gloves if your child races cars.
Racing in the rain? The Alpinestars TEMPEST V3 and OMP RAIN-K also come in youth sizes. See all karting gloves or racing gloves.
Measure around your child's palm below the knuckles and from the wrist to the tip of the middle finger, then compare with the youth size chart on each product page. Gloves should fit snugly without pinching. If your child is between sizes, choose the larger one.
No. Karting gloves aren't fire-rated, so they don't meet the SFI ratings car classes usually require. Kids who race cars need fire-resistant youth racing gloves, such as the Bell SPORT-YTX, rated SFI 3.3/5.
It depends on the series and class. Some sanctioned karting events call for FIA 8877-2022 homologated gloves, while club and practice karting often don't. Youth versions of the OMP KS-X and KS-X ART are FIA 8877-2022 homologated. Check your rulebook before you buy.
FAST RACER sells youth and kids karting gloves and racing gloves from OMP, Alpinestars and Bell online. Each product page lists the rating, sizes and size chart, so you can choose before you order.
