FIRST THAI DRIVER TO SCORE F1 POINTS SINCE 1954
Officially licensed Bell 1:2-scale Alex Albon mini helmets from his Williams seasons.
Alex Albon was born in London to an English father and Thai mother, and races under the Thai flag — becoming, in his 2019 debut season, the first Thai driver to score Formula 1 points since Prince Bira in 1954. His racing number carries its own story: as a karter he wore 46, in tribute to Valentino Rossi, before choosing 23 — "half of Rossi's number" — for his Formula 1 career.
Albon's rise through the junior ranks ran alongside future rivals and friends: he finished runner-up to Charles Leclerc in the 2016 GP3 title fight, and third in Formula 2 in 2018 behind George Russell and Lando Norris — all four now on the F1 grid.
He debuted with Toro Rosso in 2019 and earned a mid-season promotion to Red Bull, partnering Max Verstappen and taking his first two podiums in 2020. Losing his Red Bull seat at the end of that year, Albon spent 2021 as reserve driver before returning to the grid with
Albon's helmet represents a genuine comeback story — a driver who lost his seat once and used a second opportunity to become one of the grid's most consistent performers.
