Bell M8 Helmets

Both are multi-purpose helmets rated Snell SA2025. The M8 ULTRA has a carbon fiber shell and weighs about 200 g less than the M8 SPORT in comparable sizes (1,332 g vs 1,531 g around size 58-59).

The M8 SPORT comes in more sizes, from 2XS to 4XL, in White or Matte Black.

The M8 SPORT weighs 1,531 g (3 lb 6 oz) in size M (58-59). The M8 ULTRA weighs 1,332 g (2 lb 15 oz) in sizes 58 and 59, and up to 1,389 g (3 lb 1 oz) in size 60. Weight can vary by about 50 g from helmet to helmet.

Yes. Both current M8 helmets, the M8 SPORT and the M8 ULTRA, are rated Snell SA2025. Earlier M8 helmets were rated Snell SA2020. Check the rating your series requires before you buy.

The Bell M8 uses the SRV-8 replacement shield.

Measure around the widest part of your head, about one inch above your eyebrows, and compare it with the size chart for that helmet. Try it on indoors first. If it doesn't fit, exchange it for another size or return it within 30 days in as-new condition, with original packaging and tags. Custom interior color helmets can't be returned.
