About this item:

  • Latest FHR device from HANS replicates the design of the top level devices used in F1 but in a more affordable polymer material.

  • Third-generation head and neck restraint features an all-new design with a hollow collar for reduced weight. Injection molded from a new polymer, the Hans III is the lightest, most comfortable head and neck restraint currently available.

  • The HANS III allows for easy entry and exit from the race car, even smaller tighter vehicles. The sliding tethers offer exceptional visibility.

  • Recline Angle: 30 degree (see "Application" tab).

  • Each HANS Device is sold complete with two anchors (enough for one helmet) and matching tether: Sliding Post Anchor (traditional, original design) or Sliding Quick Click. Both are safe and choice is solely personal preference.

  • Meets stringent SFI 38.1 specifications.

    • Lightest Entry HANS Device Available. Weighs 200g less then the Sport 2 and 100g more then the Carbon Pro models.

    • Similar Design To Top Level Devices.

    • Recline Angle: 30 degree.

    • Injection Molded super structural carbon fiber.

    • Hollow collar minimizes weight.

    • Includes 2 Anchors (enough for one helmet)

    • Anchor Tethers: Sliding Quick Click or Sliding Post Anchor.

    • Sizes: Medium or Large.

    • SFI 38.1 Homologation.

    • Most formula cars, single seater and sports prototypes.

    • Laydown or high angle seating (Indy Car, IRL, USF2000, Pro Mazda, Indy Lights, Formula 1, Atlantic, Infiniti Pro, Barber Dodge, C/D Sports Racer and other open cockpit racing)

    • Drivers over 200 lbs in upright seats may find a 30 degree more comfortable.
