Start with the rating your series requires. For SFI club racing, the Bell SPORT-TX is rated SFI 3.2A/5. For FIA events, the OMP Sport is FIA 8856-2018. For both, the OMP FIRST-S carries FIA and SFI ratings, while the Alpinestars GP Pro Comp V2 is a lighter premium option.
A bootcut suit has a wider leg opening that fits over your racing shoes instead of tucking into them, which many drivers find more comfortable for pedal work. Alpinestars offers several of its suits in bootcut versions, such as the Atom and GP Pro Comp V2. Check the product page for leg styles.
