The Snell Memorial Foundation, an independent U.S. nonprofit organization that develops and tests helmet safety standards.

What it means:
Snell's current standard for auto racing helmets, with strict requirements for impact protection, fire resistance, roll-bar impacts, visor performance, and HANS/FHR compatibility. SA2025 also introduces stricter impact requirements than the previous SA2020 standard.

Typically required for:
U.S. auto racing, including club racing, track days, HPDE, time attack, and autocross. SA2025 rated helmets are also accepted by many U.S. karting organizations for adult karting.

Not intended for: Motorcycle use.

  • The Bell XD7 PRO incorporates aerodynamic elements, including an integrated rear spoiler and front chin bar gurney, along with ventilation designed to minimize dust entry while maximizing air exchange.

  • Equipped with the latest Snell SA2025 safety certification, factory-installed FHR/HANS device anchors and the SmartLock Visor System, the Bell XD7 PRO offers protection, comfort, and functionality for racers.

  • Key features include:

    • Lightweight Composite Shell: This high-strength composite shell provides robust protection and reduced weight for performance in extreme conditions.

    • Venturi Airflow System: Rear-facing side chin bar vents and air extraction points create a venturi effect to promote air circulation while preventing dust, dirt, and debris entry.

    • Aggressive Aerodynamic Styling: Integrated front chin bar gurney (duckbill) and integrated rear spoiler optimize airflow, reduce drag, and improve helmet stability at high speeds.

    • Synthetic Rubber Gasket Seal: A hollow gasket seal around the eyeport blocks air, water, dirt, and debris, maintaining a clean and secure interior environment.

    • Advanced Multi-Density Liner: The multi-piece, high-impact absorbing liner provides energy absorption for both low- and high-velocity impacts.

    • Integrated Accessory Channels: Built-in channels in the face piece allow easy installation of drink tubes or radio microphone systems.
