FAST RACER describes SA2025 as covering impact protection, fire resistance, roll-bar impacts, visor performance and HANS/FHR compatibility, with stricter impact requirements than the previous SA2020 standard.
Snell SA2025 helmets are commonly used for U.S. club racing, track days, HPDE, time attack and autocross, and may be accepted by adult karting organizations. Requirements vary, however, so the correct test is always the current rulebook for the event or sanctioning body. The XR7 PRO is not intended for motorcycle use.
The XR7 PRO uses a lightweight premium carbon-composite shell. Inside, a multi-piece, multi-density liner is engineered to absorb energy across low- and high-velocity impacts. This combination provides the documented foundation of the helmet's protective construction.
