  • The Zamp Z-Tech Series 2A FHR/Head and Neck Restraint Device has new features never seen before in the Head and Neck Restraint market. Advanced Axis Adjustment allows you to adjust shoulder width, arm angle, and arm width. It fits different body shapes and sizes and adjusts to different race seats.

  • Key features include:

    • One size fits all. The Z-Tech Series 2A is adjustable in width from 12.75 inches (narrow) to 15.25 inches (widest).

    • Dual Compound Frame specialized fiberglass reinforced nylon is used for the shoulder frame offering leading structural characteristics. Arms made with a modified alloy material give the device a dampening characteristic in a crash.

    • Stainless Steel Hardware screws and binary post built with high quality and strength to provide long-lasting strength.

    • Kevlar Webbing Single Point Tether connects helmet to restraint and offers good side-to-side motion during use.

    • VER.02 Spring Clip Quick Connect makes it even easier to disconnect the device from the helmet.

    • Belt Channel with Wings accepts 2in or 3in harnesses.

    • Replaceable Padding is easy to clean and/or replace for continued comfort.

    • Helmet hardware needed is included to connect to one helmet with pre-installed M6 inserts.

    • No, you cannot use a HANS Device (Head and Neck Restraint) without a harness. The harness is what actually activates the HANS device, and without it, the HANS will not stay in position, cannot restrain your head or neck in a crash, and it becomes ineffective and potentially dangerous.
      To use a HANS device safely, you must have:
      • A multi-point racing harness (minimum 4-point, ideally 5 or 6-point);
      • Proper shoulder belt routing over the device.
      • A compatible seat and mounting position
