  • Stand 21 calls the FHR the greatest safety innovation since the full-face helmet and the fire-retardant racing suit. A frontal head restraint reduces the risk of a basilar skull fracture and neck muscle stretching during a hard deceleration.

  • The Stand21 FHR Club 1 Series is Stand 21's entry-level head and neck restraint: the same FIA 8858-2010 and SFI 38.1 certification as the brand's higher models, at the most accessible Club Series price.

  • Built from carbon-reinforced thermoplastic injected resin with a 20-degree angle, the Club 1 is a logical first FHR for drivers in sedans, stock cars, GT cars and other upright seating positions.

  • Size Chart:

  • Does it need a harness to work with a HANS Device / FHR or can I just have it on my shoulders?

    Does it need a harness to work or can I just have it on my shoulders?
    • No, you cannot use a HANS Device (Head and Neck Restraint) without a harness. The harness is what actually activates the HANS device, and without it, the HANS will not stay in position, cannot restrain your head or neck in a crash, and it becomes ineffective and potentially dangerous.
      To use a HANS device safely, you must have:
      • A multi-point racing harness (minimum 4-point, ideally 5 or 6-point);
      • Proper shoulder belt routing over the device.
      • A compatible seat and mounting position
