FIA 8859-2015 also supports use with an approved HANS/FHR system.

Typically required for:
U.S. auto racing and FIA-sanctioned competitions that accept FIA 8859-2015. The Snell SA2020 certification is also accepted by many U.S. karting organizations.

Common expiration:
December 31, 2030 for Snell SA2020. Many U.S. racing and karting organizations accept SA2020 helmets through the end of 2030. FIA 8859-2015 does not have a universal 2030 expiration, so FIA eligibility should follow specific event rules.

Not intended for: Motorcycle use.
