The Stand21 FHR Featherlite is Stand 21's carbon head and neck restraint, built for drivers who want the lowest weight in the range. Made from very high-strength carbon, it weighs from 310 grams without padding and accessories, according to Stand 21.
That is less than half the weight of the Stand21 FHR Club 3 Series (640 grams, device alone), and Stand 21 describes the Featherlite as the lightest FHR it has ever created.
A redesigned, more ergonomic leg shape, a new harness strap passage, and a curved rear beam help reduce interference between the helmet and the seat headrest for better comfort and cockpit integration.
Available in a 20-degree angle for upright seating or a 30-degree angle for reclined seating. Stand 21 lists the Featherlite as approved for use in NASCAR competition.
