If you race when it rains, yes. A kart rain suit goes over your karting suit to keep you and your suit dry, so you stay comfortable and focused through a wet session. The OMP RAIN-K and Alpinestars KART RAIN are both transparent, so your suit and logos stay visible underneath.
A rain suit goes over your karting suit, so choose your usual suit size and check the size chart on each product page. Youth versions come in height sizes, such as 120 to 160 cm for the OMP RAIN-K. If you're between sizes, choose the larger one.
A rain suit is a one-piece oversuit you wear while driving, with sealed seams and a heat-resistant elbow panel. The OMP Kart KS Raincoat is a hooded coat for the pit and paddock, made for drivers between sessions and for mechanics, and isn't meant to be worn while driving.
