It ships with a Z-20 clear anti-fog visor already installed — you don't need to buy one to start racing. Three Z-20 shields are sold separately if you want something different: an anti-fog replacement, a mirrored/iridium option for glare reduction, and a photochromatic option that adjusts tint automatically as light changes. The photochromatic shield costs more because it's the only one of the three that adds new functionality rather than just changing the finish.
