Snell SA standards have historically been updated on a five-year cycle. Racing helmets certified to SA2015, SA2020 and SA2025 were introduced in October 2015, October 2020 and October 2025, respectively. If Snell maintains this schedule, helmets meeting the next standard, SA2030, may arrive around October 2030. The timing is an estimate, not a confirmed release date.
