Neck protection is mandatory for junior categories in most leagues: SKUSA requires it for all junior classes (Micro/Mini, X30/KA100 Junior, etc.); USPKS for all except Senior/Masters; WKA and AKRA for sit-up/junior classes. Seniors often have it optional but strongly recommended. Must be unaltered motorsport-designed models (Leatt, Valhalla 360, EVS, etc.).
