All major USA karting leagues in 2026 require a full-face helmet with attached visor/shield in good condition (no cracks, holes, or damage) that meets current Snell (K2025 or SA2025) or FIA standards. Older Snell K2020 and SA2020 helmets remain valid until December 31, 2030, in most leagues. Non-compliant or expired helmets result in disqualification or a black flag. Always verify the latest official certification list in each league's rulebook.
